Hei! (Hi!)

Students in Bergen who has not a GP ("fastlege") can get medical help by contacting Strandsiden legesenter. Students can make an appointment by calling this phone number: 52 69 51 51.

If in need of more acute medical service you are adviced to contact the emergency department ("legevakten") at phone number: 116 117.

It will be up to the doctor`s  considerations if you can be prescribed the same medication as you had in the UK. You can also ask at the pharmacy if they have any over-the-counter medication that can be appropriate for your needs.

I wish you good luck with your studies and time in Norway!
