Is there any financial help available if I couldn't pay my rent?
It is difficult to answer your question when we know so little about your situation. I will try to give you some general information about financial help to students.
As a general rule you have to be able to pay your own rent when you are a student. Norwegian citizens (and sometimes others too, check the link to see who are eligible for a loan) have access to "Lånekassen" which is a public administrative body, under the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. Their student loans make it possible for everyone to get an education. The student loan is supposed to pay for both your living expenses and your rent.
If the student loan is not sufficient, most students have to take an extra job in order to be able to survive financially.
In some rare occasions, students can get help from The social welfare / NAV sosial. This is very seldom, because students are supposed to be self-financed through either student loans / scholarships or through income. However, sometimes life is hard, and you could be in a situation where the Social welfare system has to lend you a helping hand.
If you have no money to pay for your rent, it is important that you contact the landlord and tell them that the rent is going to be late. You can also ask the landlord if they can give you an extension.
As you can see, the quick answer to your question would be "no". However, hopefully some of this information might be helpful for you.
I wish you all the best, and good luck.
